Harbourside Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Harbourside Cafe feels like finding a quiet pause tucked away along North Vancouver’s scenic waterfront. The pace here is unhurried, inviting you to settle in with a warm coffee or a thoughtfully prepared lunch amidst soft natural light and a calm atmosphere. It’s a spot where the hum of daily life blends with purposeful moments of rest—perfect for locals needing a peaceful break or visitors wanting a taste of neighborhood charm.
The cafe’s welcoming vibe is reflected in its friendly service and the gentle buzz of conversation that feels just familiar enough, without ever overwhelming. With wood accents and simple, clean lines, the space echoes a mindful simplicity that complements the day’s rhythm, whether it’s a quiet morning coffee or a midday meal shared with a companion.
While Harbourside Cafe’s menu might suggest the comforts of classic sandwiches and fresh bowls, it’s the way these dishes are thoughtfully crafted that catches your attention. Sandwiched between layers of fresh ingredients, or served with a perfectly cooked fried egg, each dish carries a quiet confidence—comforting yet lively, like the neighborhood itself. The weekly specials bring a subtle variety inspired by Korean flavors, adding an unexpected depth to what might otherwise feel familiar.
This is a place where you can linger over a matcha latte or dive into a richly flavored chicken pesto sandwich, feeling time slow down just enough to appreciate the simple craft behind each bite. While the nearby construction sometimes stirs the air, the cafe retains a sense of calm and order that stands apart, quietly inviting you to press pause.
Whether you’re a local stopping by between errands or settling in for a peaceful lunch away from the bustle, Harbourside Cafe offers a grounded yet thoughtful experience—one that blends the sincerity of good food, welcoming faces, and a gentle space to unwind.

We stopped by Harbourside Café in North Vancouver and loved it! The matcha was excellent, the beef sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the whole place had such a calm, relaxing vibe. The staff were polite and welcoming, and everything was spotless and well-organized. A great spot to unwind — highly recommended!

Great coffee shop, lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. Good coffee. Lacking pastries and since there are many construction sites around, the clientele are mostly construction workers, hence the place smells like a construction site too.

Fantastic chicken souvlaki. Hasan the chef/owner cooks a mix of Iranian and western meals.

Have been coming here pretty consistently over the past couple of months because I started working nearby. I love their food, you can't go wrong with any choice you make

Love this place! It’s a cozy little cafe. They’ve got a great variety of sandwiches, and the staff are always super friendly. You can grab coffee, cold drinks, or even some ice cream — perfect for any time of day. difficult parking — it’s tough right now because of construction in the area.

What a gem of a coffee shop. Family business, warm, kind, great iced Americano this morning. And then a really simple, yet very tasty souvlski lunch special. Couldn't ask for more. Recommend this place to everyone.

Great selection, really kind people, & kept clean and cozy. Churro croissant & matcha was so good!
